Another company says they can build a web site for us for $200. Why shouldn't we use them?

How long will it take for my website to be completed?
The amount of time that it takes for your website to be completed will depend on the size of the website, the amount of custom work that needs to be done and the level of involvement that you and your staff have in providing us with the information that we need to create an effective website. When our staff provides you with a cost quote, they will give you an estimated completion date as well that is based on the unique needs of your project.
How should I supply the content for my website?
Most types of content can be emailed directly to SouthCoast Internet for use in constructing your brand new website. Speak with your representative to find out about any alternative methods for sending images, text and other types of files that you wish to be included.
Other than the quoted price, are there any other costs/additional fees?
Any additional costs and fees will be discussed ahead of time and included in with your quote. If you choose to add on extra services, functions, industry solutions or features to your website after the initial quote has been given and work has started on your web project, our team will give you a quote for those extra costs and fees.
How do I update my website?
SouthCoast Internet can make updates for you with continued web management services, however your website will be setup with WordPress, a system that will allow you to easily make updates on your own. Our team can even train you and your staff to use WordPress to make updates effectively and accurately, keeping your website looking and performing at its best.
Will be website look good on mobile devices?

How do I get email addresses associated with my website?
We provide firstname.lastname@example.org email addresses to all of our clients upon request. Just speak with your representative to create your own custom email address.
Is there training provided so I can learn how to edit my website?

How many pages can I have on my website?
There is no limit to the number of pages that you can have on your website. I already have a website and I need it updated, can SouthCoast Internet help me?

What is your payment policy and how do I pay?
We accept all major credit cards and checks for payment at SouthCoast Internet. Payment for web design and development project, such as new websites or website re-designs, are based on a 50 percent deposit at start and a 50 percent balance at the end. All hosting is paid monthly. Clients receive an emailed invoice which is due by the 10th of the month and can be paid by credit card or check.
Once you complete website design, who owns the copyright to the site?
After our team completes the website design and it is paid for in full, the client completely owns the copyright to the site and can make changes or alterations to it as they desire.
I like site ***.com, can I have similar one?
While our designers and developers cannot copy a website design exactly for legal reasons, it is sometimes helpful to share websites that you admire with our team so they can have an idea of what elements you would like to see in your own custom website design.
Does SouthCoast Internet list my site in Google & other search engines?
We don’t just design websites, we create professional web strategies. The search engines are a part of this overall development process. How do I transfer files to my website?

Can I have additional domain names point to my hosting account/domain name?

How is web hosting billing handled?
Billing is done on a monthly basis. Our billing department will mail invoices out at the beginning of each month and payment is due by the 10th. We accept credit cards and checks for payment.
